I realise it’s been quite a while since I’ve done a comic, but there have been some slight renovations underway.
As anyone who followed the comic from the start knows, it’s always been based around a group of people. Way back in 2008 it was based around Ben and I and some of our real life friends. Then when we came back again earlier this year we changed the characters to just be based on people we know (to give us more freedom to not worry about the real life versions reactions to certain story lines). Now, for the first time, we’ve completely started from scratch. It’s not so much storyline based but more a series of individual comics, based on Ben, David and I, current events and just humorous things.
I’ve got to say, I’m a little proud of how things have developed over the years, even with my art style (and I am big on self deprecation). You’ll have all hopefully noticed the gradual increase in quality of images at the start of the videos on Youtube. You BETTER have, what you see on the screen for about 5 seconds takes me around 2 hours to do.
So hopefully you’ll be seeing comics more regularly as well as our wonderful videos and quality Podcasts.
In general news, we hit 5000 Subscribers on Youtube this week. That’s pretty awesome. We really do appreciate all the support both on Youtube and Facebook (We also have Twitter you know, and individual Twitter pages- check the “About” section on the website) it’s a pretty awesome moment when you realise there’s more people interested in you than all our Facebook friends combined. Though as David said in the Podcast, it could just be his Mam with many accounts.
So keep subscribing, liking and following and tell all your friends, Spam their Newsfeeds with hilarious videos. Beats bitching about Battlefield or X Factor.
